再見大白

大叔和同屋主的大白今天走了.
連我都有點傷感.
見過他大概3,4次,
拍過一次照.
和他溝通過三次.

在知道他們約好了醫生,
在下午三時送他最後一程,
午飯後的我,
總是在看時間.
在想,他們是否往醫院的中途呢?
在想,他們到了沒有?
在想,雖然我很討厭這醫院的手法,
也懷疑他們的專業操守,
但會不會有奇蹟呢?

忽然,手機傳來了SMS的響聲,
我立刻按"Taiba passed away..."
雖說,學了動物傳心術的我,
看生死跟以前有所不同.
但原來,看生死和面對生死是兩碼子的事.

大白,你永遠在我心中的樣子,
跟在這相中的一樣!

The Rainbow Bridge

There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth
It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of its many colours
Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge, there is a land of meadow, hills and villages, with lush green grass.
When a beloved pet dies, they go to this place.
There is always food, water and warm spring weather.
Those old and frail animals are young again.
Those who have been maimed are made whole again.
They play all day with each other, but there is only one thing missing.
They are not with their special person who loved them on Earth.
So, each day they run and play until the day comes
When one suddenly stops playing and looks up
The nose twitches, the ears are up, the eyes are staring... ... and this one suddenly runs from the group
You have been seen
And when you and your special friend meet, you take them in your arms and embrace
Your face is kissed again and again
And again you look once more into the eyes of your trusting pets
Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together, neven again to be seperated
Until we meet again... ...
